The Elephant Hotel, set in the bustling village of Pangbourne, beside the River Thames, minutes from the vibrant city of Reading, offers a return to the opulence of the Empire. The Elephant at Pangbourne has two dining areas. ‘BaBar’ has a bistro feel, serving excellent local produce in a simple and classic manner, while our restaurant, Christoph’s, offers an elegant fine dining alternative. You can even choose to dine al fresco in our enclosed garden (perhaps with a cold glass of Louis Roederer champagne in your hand - weather permitting!) whilst you mull over what to eat, or get dressed up and sip a Singapore Sling in our intimate cocktail lounge.
