Genuinely old oak-beamed, ivy-covered pub, situated next to the attractive village church on an ancient road which runs through the village. The beams are festooned with jugs, tankards and hops and there is a fine open fire in winter. Popular with horse riding clubs, classic car societies and vintage motorcycle clubs.
An unusual pub that serves food all day every day except Tuesday.
