The St John's Head is a quality traditional pub located in Great Yarmouth. We're close to Great Yarmouth railway station - the ideal first port of call for quenching that thirst after a long journey. We'll even call you a cab when you're ready to leave - no charge! We specialise in providing a huge choice of real ales which are rotated regularly to keep our customers' taste buds entertained. Also ciders, lagers, regular top-pressure beers (including mild), bottled beers, wines, spirits and soft drinks - coffee too, if you must. No smell of chips or making room for people who want to eat in our pub. We're a pub, just a pub, and that's all we do We are based in a 400 year old, grade 2 listed building, which gives the pub its authentic feel and provides an excellent atmosphere for people to come and enjoy a quality pint. Looking for somewhere to watch the football? We are able to screen all sorts of sporting events with our large screen and two smaller screens situated throughout the pub.
