Transport Tips
Trains from Preston and Lancaster to Barrow stop at Carnforth. Then Warton is a flat 15 minute walk. Buses Nos 51 & 55 go from the stop across the station car park, roughly hourly - and stop (or pick up on return) outside the pub. The bus goes on to Silverdale by the station there but that is a more challenging 3 mile walk to Warton over the beautiful Warton Crag (AONB & SSSI, NT and Nature Reserve).
