The Foundry

About

The Foundry is a craft brewery, restaurant and bar located just off the high street, on White Horse Lane.

The Foundry was originally a Victorian iron foundry that produced cast metal items that went all over the empire, from street lighting in New York to early torpedoes for the British Navy and most things in between. We take inspiration from the original foundry founder, William Henry Biggleston, and his company's ingenuity, originality and entrepreneurial spirit, as well as the stunning building they left us. We have an extensive menu of traditional pub food and modern favourites, plus a wide range of beers and ciders, and we regularly host live music and stand up comedy.
