Shirehampton's hidden gem. Just off the Portway on the bank of the River Avon. A good old pub serving good food, not a restaurant which serves beer!

The Lamplighters pub was closed for four years. Churchill properties bought the building, hoping to find a brewery to come forward and run it. Hopes took a step forward last year as planning permission was granted for houses in some of the pub's substantial garden to fund the significant building and structural repair work that is needed for the pub. But thanks to Dominic and his team, The Lamplighters has been saved and is now OPEN! We are still putting in place the final touches, so your suggestions welcome. Thanks for your support.
